Universal Audio’s Apollo E Series now shipping
Universal Audio have announced that the latest two Dante-equipped additions to their Apollo line-up are now shipping worldwide. Announced back in March 2025, the Apollo e1x Remote-controllable Unison Preamp and Apollo e2m Stereo Headphone Amplifier and Line Interface expand the capabilities of Dante-based AoIP systems and UA’s Apollo x16D audio interface, allowing engineers to seamlessly integrate Unison preamp emulation, personal monitoring and UAD plug-in processing into live sound, broadcast and networked studio environments.
Apollo e1x Key Features
Expand any Dante network with remote-controlled mic/line preamps using Power over Ethernet (PoE). Combine with Apollo x16D interface to get the authentic Unison mic preamp sounds of API, Avalon, Manley, Neve, SSL and more. Link multiple Apollo e1x units with included coupling bracket and integrated mic-stand mount. Add personal monitor control with headphone amplifier and line I/O to Dante audio networks. Easily connect external analogue gear, synths, drum machines, amp emulators and playback devices with e2m's built-in stereo line inputs.
